Giving up.

It seems like over the past year or so, whenever I've felt like giving up; something always happened that reminded me to keep going again. Most of these things weren't earth shattering occurrences, but to me they were. They are always what remind me and inspire me to continue to try, and never think that what is important to me is trivial. These are the moments that I literally live for. Sometimes you have to get into the depths to be reminded of why you care so much again. It isn't fun, but sometimes it's exactly what you needed. But don't let these moods ruin you, make them motivate you. You have more potential than you realize to do so much for yourself, and don't ever question that. I think we all need to be that person who tries to help someone else out when they're at their lowest points, or be the person who tries to prevent someone from having to get to that point. You don't understand how much something you say can affect someone, and you should be trying to use that power to do good-as opposed to the negativity and bullshit teenagers seem to be famous for spreading. Helping someone out and at least trying to make a positive impact on them feels 100 times better than trying to break them down. I personally don't think that feels good at all. Try and make someone feel better about themselves as often as you can, because the opportunity presents itself right in front of you all the time. You never know how much that moment will mean to them-and it may turn into a moment for you too.
