Have you guys ever read through the blogs on The Buried Life's page? I haven't read all of them, but i've read a good amount; and it just amazes me when I think about how much they've done at such a young age. I know most of us have only known about them because of the show(Myself included, and I wish I knew about them from the start), and we've been inspired by seeing those people they helped in it; but they have helped so many more. Seriously, read through some one day if you want to be touched. The ones that get me the most are the people they've helped that we're terminally ill, just hearing their stories must have been huge eye-opening experiences. They have done so much, I can't even imagine that a young adult could experience so much in such a short amount of time. I just can't help but be astonished. Even when these guys weren't worshiped by people, they were going out there and giving the project everything they had just because it made them feel good. I feel like everyone just sees it as a walk in the park- but it wasn't. It was hard work, it was dedication, it was wanting to just give up and persevering. The Buried Life guys aren't happy just because they got to accomplish the list items, but because of how hard they know they have worked to get to where they are, and how many lives they were able to make a little brighter. They genuinely set out to do this to live fulfilling lives, make an impact, and hear as many stories and have as many experiences as possible. Whenever people ask them what's different about them, they say "nothing", which is true...and not true. These guys aren't super-humans, they didn't grow up with life on a silver platter, they aren't perfect(Can't even say that and feel truthful about it..). In that sense they are like a lot of us. But these guys definitely are very different from the rest. They wouldn't be where they are right now if they weren't. I could go on and on about why they're so different from everyone else, but I think we all get it. The qualities they have are ones we should aspire to create in ourselves. I can't think about them without feeling good in my heart, and that's something we all need.
